Punctuality
It is of paramount importance that your child is on time for school each day in order for them to make the best possible progress in terms of learning and all round development. Pupils who arrive late miss the teachers instruction to the class on the mornings work, miss messages or information relating to the whole class, and have less time to complete their early morning work. If children are persistently late parents or guardians will be required to meet with a school leader to discuss the matter and discuss ways in which we can work together to improve the situation.
Morning Registration
Children will be registered in class between 8.30am and 8.45am.
8.45 – 9.00am Children will be marked as ‘Late’ (register still open)
9.15am onwards Children will be marked as ‘Unauthorised Absence’ unless an explanation has been given.
Afternoon Registration
12.30-12.40pm Registration Period for EYFS
12.45-12.55pm Registration Period for Years 1 & 2
1.00-1.10pm Registration Period for Years 3 & 4
1.15-1.25pm Registration Period for Years 5 & 6
If you are late you must report to the main school office and sign in the late book. Your child will then be taken/sent to their class.
Please do not send your child into school through an open door or ask staff/children to open doors for you as they may not then be properly registered. It is vital all children are registered in the case of an emergency such as a fire.
