Week 7- Planets!

This week we have had the best time exploring planets. As communicators, we have been learning the vocabulary surrounding planets, including the names of the planets themselves. We have practised saying the names of the planets and, as scientists, have used our white hat thinking to learn facts about the planets and compare Earth and Mars. Why not ask us which one we would rather live on! As mathematicians, we continued to develop our learning of patterns, this week focusing on ABB and ABBC patterns. As writers, we have looked at story maps and have begun creating our very own story maps to retell 'Whatever Next'. As theologists, we built upon our knowledge from last week when we thought about how we are special and unique and this week, thought about the Christian belief of 'Jesus loves everyone', continuing the thinking by relating this to our own lives and discussing who we love and who loves us. It has been a brilliant week and we cannot wait for more amazing learning next week!
