Spring Term 2

Week 4

To celebrate British Science Week, we applied a range of science lenses, including 'Problem Solving' to help us understand why different birds have adapted over time. This supports our understanding of Darwin's research into finches on the Galapagos Islands.

Week 3

This week, we used our presentation oracy skills to perform our speeches about the importance of environmental sustainability.  As musicians, we used a range of instruments to compose a short piece of music that represents a 'soundscape' of London. We also celebrated World Book Day- 'Reading is Power- We Read Today for a Powerful Tomorrow!'

Week 2

Thinking and communicating with clarity and precision, children competed in round 2 of our public speaking competition- Speak Up. As writers, we drafted our persuasive speeches about the importance of environmental sustainability. Maja also had the opportunity to perform her speech to Team Oak.
