'Carnival of Animals' is a favourite for many!

Last week our phenomenal learners demonstrated a range of skills, and we were exceptionally proud of them. From rewriting (and then adapting) the story of 'Little Beauty' to working on odds and evens to then learning a fireworks dance with our dance teacher, Tracy! Then, in P.E, with Coach Harry, they worked on their throwing and catching skills, specifically the  underarm technique. The focus was also on working collaboratively as a team, and they focused on being kind to one another, helping each other and communicating effectively. It was also Anti-Bullying Week and this was a huge focus for the week-everything linked well together. In computing, they programmed the Beebots using directional language to place the objects in specific places! Their brains must have been exhausted over the weekend. They even demonstrated democracy when voting for the story they wanted us to read as part of our Reading Pledge.
