Patterns!

During our Maths sessions this week we have been looking at making repeated patterns in different ways, with different materials and objects. The circle shape worked very well for our superhero shields! The children showed a good understanding of an 'ABABAB' pattern (2 colours/shapes) as well as the more complex 'ABBABBABB' and 'ABCABCABC' pattern. Maybe they can show these complex patterns at home?
